The store was closed since January 2017 to allow for repair works on the ceiling of the shopping mall. During repairs, the entrance to our store was blocked, and there was limited access to the level.

Also, for the first time in CFS history, children aged 5 to 12 years old pitted their skating skills against each other on Amoy Street, which was part of the CFS road closure and famous for a 40m long art mural behind Thian Hock Keng Temple, drawn by artist Yip Yew Chong, which depicts the life of early Hokkien immigrants in Singapore.

Skating parents get to play a part with their child too in the Family Fun Challenge through fun telematches, which promotes family bonding through the sport.
