Skateline presents 'Scenic Night Skate' for the month of August!

Come join us this August on this scenic route which brings you from EXPO Exhibition Centre to East Coast Park via Bedok Park Connector, and to the newly opened Singapore Sports Hub at Kallang and Esplanade Theatres by the Bay at Cityhall. Capture the beautiful night scenery of SIngapore from rural to urban while giving your legs a great workout!

Starting point: Outside EXPO MRT Station Exit B
Ending Point: Esplanade Theatres by the Bay
Distance: ~20km

*Cashcard parking available at EXPO exhibition centre.

*Complimentary bus service is available for return trip to EXPO exhibition centre from Esplanade after the event.

Simply RSVP via the Facebook event page(Facebook login required) by clicking the 'Going' or 'Join' button to register your attendance. This will allow you to see event updates on the Facebook event page in case of event changes or cancellation. All event related notifications will be posted on the SNS Facebook event page only.

WHO CAN JOIN

The SNS is free and open to all skaters with the following in mind:

• This is an open and public social gathering, participants take part in the SNS at their own risk. Skateline staff and Skate Assist Volunteers facilitate this social gathering but assume no responsibility for the safety of the participants.
• For Advanced skaters and above
• Able to stop at will, turn sharp corners and handle the following unassisted: slopes, stairs, kerbs, humps, depressions, rough/uneven ground, wet surfaces and urban features like overhead bridges and traffic crossings
• Numerous traffic crossings and overhead bridges to be expected. Please exercise patience and obey all traffic rules
• Respect pedestrians and avoid causing obstruction or inconvenience to the public
• Follow the instructions of the Captain and Marshals
• Route may change without prior notice
• Skating within the MRT Station premises is strictly prohibited
