Stay-On-Track Park Safety Campaign June 2004
June 12 to July 3

Bishan Park, East Coast Park, West Coast Park and Pasir Ris Park

From Saturday June 12, the National Parks Board is launching a 1 month park safety program in various popular parks . Expect to see Nparks safety ambassadors out and about in the parks in spreading the park safety message! Answer a simple questionaire and you can take home an attractive "Stay On Track" Pen.


Skateline Brings Skating to the Special Olympics Singapore April 2004

For the first time ever, children from the Special Olympics Singapore will have the chance to experience inline skating with Skateline instructors.

Skateline is delighted to share the joy of skating with these really special athletes.

Do you know that Inline Skating burns up to 570 calories per hour – as much as running & cycling?

Come try it out free at Women's Day Out, a sports lifestyle event on 22 May at the Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza!

 

Cycling for Cancer October 2003
Skateline is a proud participant and supporter in Cycling for Cancer on the 11th and 12th of October. Come by an check it out. Wendy will be on a stationary bike for 24 hours, and Sandy will be giving 15 minute slide board lessons for a minimum $5.00 donation towards this cause, Hip Hop dance skating demos, goodie bags, and more.

URA HELP (Help Every Lone Parent) July 2003
Skateline partnered with URA, bringing together a group of 30 children from HELP(Help Every Lone Parent) for a fun time learning how to skate.

People Helping People Photography Supporting the Red Cross

When it comes to helping those in need amongst us, the littlest act can mean so much. In celebration of serving humanity, the Singapore Red Cross is launching the nationwide "People helping People" Photo Competition to capture people doing what they do best to help the less fortunate.

 

 

National Volunteer Centre: FAVE DAY Jun 2002
A Day of Family Volunteering - Learn to Share and Give The SAVs joined the National Volunteer Centr (NVC) to call for family volunteering. This is in conjunction with the NVC's first FaVE Day. Together with the NVC, the SAVs sought to showcase that in-line skating can be one of the many sports volunteering opportunities that families can undertake together.


Car Free Day Skate May 2002
Skateline joins the Singapore Environment Council to say that we care for our environment. Internationally Certified Skate Instructors and Skate Assist Volunteers skated from Bishan Park II to East Coast Bedok jetty along the Kallang River park connector, on Sunday April 21st, 3.00 pm - 7 pm.
 



Skating is environmentally friendly. It can be an alternative mode of transport. We hope that the Skate for the Earth 2002 will help encourage the relevant authorities to quicken the efforts to connect our parks so that like minded Singaporeans can have an alternative to either walk, jog, skate or cycle to and from work or leisure.
