The Ninebot by Segway miniPro is Segway's first consumer product since its combination with Ninebot, Inc in 2015. The miniPro carries the same high-tech, high performance character of the Segway brand, in a form factor and price that will appeal to everyday users.
The miniPro is surprisingly easy to ride, taking less time to get used to than a hoverboard. The larger air-filled tires also allow higher speed and traction, making them almost as fast as electric uni-cycles or electric scooters.
This personal mobility device is a great all-rounder, suitable for the daily commute as well as leisurely touring rides.
The miniPro can generate instantaneous power of 2000W from it's twin 400W motors (total 800W), giving 70nm of torque. That simply means it is very responsive to ride and climbs slopes easily.
Designed to commute like a pedestrian
Unlike an electric scooter, the miniPro takes up about the same floor space as a regular pedestrian. It can travel very smoothly even at very slow speeds (if you are stuck in a crowd), and it can remain stationery without requiring any balancing effort. So you can go or stop naturally together with other pedestrians who are on foot. It is by far the most unintrusive personal mobility device for use among other pedestrians.
Zero Learning Curve
You can literally step on and ride the very first time.
There's an app for it
You can conveniently lock the miniPro with your phone when you have to leave it for a moment, rendering it immobile. If someone tries to move it, your phone app alerts you. You can also steer the miniPro remotely over short distances like a remote controlled vehicle.
