All-round helmets used to look boring. Until German helmet maker MELON made the blank shell a canvas.
Numerous design awards later, it is now one of the most desirable all-round helmets.
Besides looking good, these helmets are also impressively safety certified, passing a number of Swiss and German tests that that are stricter than the essential CE-EN1078 European requirements for sport safety helmets. While the standard CE-EN1078 tests focus on protection against direct impacts, MELON passes additional tests that protect against injuries from rotational movements during impacts.
In fact, these tests confirm that MELON helmets are technically safer than a number of more established helmet brands in the market.
MELON helmets also come with standard or optional features which are not found in other all-round helmets. These include add-on clear visors, CoolMax liners that wick away sweat and dry fast, and magnetic buckles that don't pinch skin off your neck.
Be sure to get covered where it matters, now that it is literally cool to do so.
